We are a week away from the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, which means a fresh round of new runDisney shoes from Brooks! Fresh off the heels (pun intended) of the 2026-2027 runDisney calendar release, Good Morning America gave eagle-eyed viewers a quick glimpse of the lineup before runDisney released better looks at them on their website. In addition to the Stitch Glycerin 22 models that came out for Wine & Dine Weekend, we now have four new shoes for which two look like they are specific to WDW Marathon Weekend and two are likely mainstays for the year.

Adrenaline GTS 23 runDisney

Replacing the Adrenaline GTS runDisney shoe from the previous year, this newer model offers a sleeker design and some cooler runDisney elements. The white and blue gradients are sharp, and the silver Mickey ears and "running Mickey" on the inside heel are nice touches. The midsole heel also has the "Every Mile is Magic" quote. Visually I like these a little more than the previous year's version. The Adrenaline GTS line is designed for overpronators needing more support on the inside arches, but they are a decent walking option as well. I would expect this model to be available at all 2026 race weekends.

Ghost 17 Mickey Mouse

Replacing last year's white Ghost Max 2 Mickey Mouse shoes, the Ghost 17 version is bit darker and quieter. Featuring what looks to be felt for the Mickey ear silhouette and Brooks logos, this design is favoring style over performance. While I liked the white shoe from the previous year, I appreciate the more subtle elements of this version as an everyday shoe that doesn't immediately scream "Disney Adult". While the Ghost 17 is probably Brooks' most popular daily trainer, this might be a better walk-around-the-park shoe than a running shoe. This is another style I expect to stick around the whole year.

Ghost Max 3 Cinderella Castle

Similar to the Wine & Dine Weekend Ghost Max 3 with Spaceship Earth, the first Marathon Weekend-specific design features the famous Cinderella Castle on the heel along with Mickey ears all over the laces and inside padding. The Brooks logo is dotted with fireworks in a nice homage to Happily Ever After. These are really nice aesthetically, and it almost makes me wonder if the next could race weekends will include iconic park images as well. We have Spaceship Earth and the Castle for W&D and Marathon Weekend, respectively. Princess Weekend is next but only goes through Epcot and Magic Kingdom, while Springtime Surprise only goes as far as Hollywood Studios. Could we see course changes?

Ghost 17 Chip & Dale

This is the shoe I expect to be the highest in-demand. The Chip & Dale medals are among my favorite in all the race weekends, and having Chip on one shoe and Dale on the other (complete with signatures) is really fun. Brooks brought total consistency in matching black tongue logo, side logo trim, and black outsole for the Chip shoe, and swapping red for the same elements on the Dale shoe. I also really like the "fur" on the tongue and side logos. If Brooks had managed to replace the Brooks logo on the outsole toe with an acorn it really would have been something, but these are pretty perfect for a Chip & Dale shoe. Grab these while you can - I don't imagine too many pairs will hit the online store.
