Welcome to the Ultra Dopey Runner! If you enjoy running, Disney World, and running at Disney World then you've come to the right place. We'll update you on the latest runDisney and Disney World news along with tips and techniques to help you get the most out of your run-cations. Whether you're looking advice on training plans, navigating race weekends with park days, or even wondering about the best shoe rotations for runDisney challenges, we will try to give our take on what works for us.

A bit about the author: I'm a 30-something former college athlete turned runner. I'm by no means the fastest on race day, but I try to be up on the latest trends, shoes, fuels, and plans to try to give me an edge. I live in South Jersey with my wife and three young kids, and we love our annual or biannual Disney World trips. For most people the physical and mental stress of planning a Disney World vacation is taxing enough, so why not add in four straight race days totaling 48.6 magical miles into the mix! Yes, it's crazy. But there are few more feelings of accomplishment when you cross the final finish line and cap off a full Disney trip with the family.
