2026-2027 runDisney Calendar is here!

Happy 2026! I hope everyone had a happy, safe, and (for those not running Dopey next week) relaxing holiday season.

In the spirit of giving (and spending), runDisney was gracious enough to provide the next season of runDisney events just before their signature Marathon Weekend. Overall, there were really no big surprises in the calendar. We already knew the Disneyland races were going on "hiatus" - for how long is anyone's guess - and in place of the Halloween Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland we are getting a Halloween Virtual run that I'm sure will be popular. The dates for the four Walt Disney World weekends fall at pretty much the same time as this past year, as do the registration dates. As of this release, there's only about a month until Wine & Dine Half Marathon registration, and about two months from WDW Marathon Weekend registration.

While I unfortunately can't make it down for the 2026 Dopey (I'm a mix of jealous and relieved - it has been freezing in South Jersey the last month and I haven't run much since the Philly Marathon), I will be down for Princess Half Marathon Weekend, running all the races while my family joins for the 5k. I'm tentatively planning on running Dopey about in 2027, so I'll have a couple weeks to see if anyone else in my family will be joining me for the races in January 2027.
